Gary Ross to Rewrite, Direct “Venom” Movie

Filmmaker Gary Ross (Seabiscuit, Pleasantville) will write and potentially direct “Venom” spin-off, based on the villain from “Spider-Man 3.”

In the comic series, Venom is a parasite alien that bonds with Peter Parker and later his newsroom rival.

Back in 2006, Venom was introduced to the fans in “Spider-Man 3” as Topher Grace portrayed the evil Spider-Man look-alike, humanly known as Eddie Brock. Considered one of the greatest threats to humanity in the Spider-Man universe, the villain is a sentient alien with a liquid-like form which requires a human host to survive. By bonding itself to the host, it gives its host enhanced power to form a super-villain.

20th Century Fox has hired Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Zombieland) to write the screenplay for its “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” spinoff, “Deadpool.”

Ryan Reynolds, who played the wisecracking mercenary character in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” and is slated to reprise it, has a window in his schedule after wrapping Martin Campbell’s “Green Lantern” this summer. The story is expected to stay true to the mythology of “Deadpool” as Reynolds is a huge fan and protector of the property Reese and Wernick have previously written a draft for the “Venom” spin-off, which is another Marvel property. They have also been working on the “Zombieland” sequel.

Today after the eating at the escapade I went to the gym and I know I have to push a little bit at my cycling. And what do you know I managed to do a 15KM distance less than 30 minutes!!.. Allright I know some of you might say it's no big deal but it's a start for me...

Before it was 30++ minutes. The big question is can I maintain it? Well I was thinking of doing a standard marathon [26.4KM] one day with a time of less than 1 hour. Anything possible i guess. You just to put some effort and determination I guess...

i didn't like cycling but this past few days cuba2 main basikal d gym and what do you know..i became addicted... hehe.. tp masih lagi balum mencapai tahap marathon ( 26.4km )..So today i managed a 15km journney in 34 minutes..

Today my wife bought her new piggy bank...eerr.. i mean gas bank (?!)..It was cute and rare hehe..

Cinema - Kaiji: The Ultimate Gambler

From the casts of Death Note this Japanese movie really didn't get to my expectations. It was a good movie BUT at the same time it's just like any other ordinary movie from the Japs. Their boring gambling/debt money themes seem to conquer their movies industries. ( unlike My Boss My Hero : Jap ver ).

Anyway it's a story of a teenager who accidentaly signed a guarantor which he didn't know after 2 years. So the loan sharkers found him and that's where the story begins. During the entire movie like 2 kind of cards for gambling which is interesting. First the stone, scissor and paper cards and the second is the E-Cards ( wish both if this cards available here..hehe ).

The downside of this movie is THE STORY LINE IS TOO PREDICTABLE!!.. You know what and when the story will happen which I thought as a viewer my self I really didn't enjoy very much. Nevertheless if you still want to know more about the movie just go to the nearest cinema and I think it's worth to see since it's a 2 hours flick!..

Shari atau lebih dikenali sebagai Achik Spin meninggal dunia petang tadi selepas kereta Toyota Estima yang dinaiki bersama-sama kawannya terbabas di KM 14 Lebuh Raya Kajang Seremban Sdn. Bhd. (Lekas). Arwah tersepit di dalam kereta sebelum kereta itu terbakar. Arwah meninggal di tempat kejadian. Kawan arwah bagaimanapun sempat keluar daripada kereta itu untuk menyelamatkan diri.
Sama-sama kita sedekahkan Al-Fatihah untuk Allahyarham Achik Spin. Semoga roh beliau dicucuri rahmat dan ditempatkan dalam kalangan orang-orang yang beriman.

First the result between my family team and the team from Masjid Jamalul alam were unknown coz nada score board kan displaykan huhu.. but i think it was a close game.. ;)

Second my other team: Metalheads Fc lose for the first time this year.. Nada alasan kan d bagi BUT may b most of us were like 'offdays'.. ada yang sakit kaki , damam, and I think the biggest factors must be our 3 top players were not playing.. So kesimpulannya nada striker lah kami hehe... we lost 11-20..:)

LAWS should be drafted to penalise practitioners of witchcraft or black magic and the punishment should be handed down by a judge in accordance with the offence committed.

Dato' Dr Haron Din, head teacher of the basic course conducted by Darusysyifa' Warrafahah, made this suggestion in his working paper entitled "Witchcraft: Its Effects on Beliefs and How to Overcome Them" delivered during the inaugural presentation of authorisation certificates to 165 Islamic medical practitioners on Sunday.

Dato' Haron suggested that through legislation, offenders could be exiled from their hometowns, imprisoned as long as deemed appropriate, and be whipped as permitted by law. The offender could also be required to attend a course on aqidah (faith) after serving his or her sentence, he said, adding that they should be monitored closely so they would not repeat their mistakes.

According to Dato' Haron, witchcraft is banned not only in Islam, but also in Christianity and Judaism because the practice is clearly immoral.

The best TV series I've seen so far and hopefully it won't wither as season goes by just like others : LOST,BONES,KNIGHT RIDER (new)...etc mind you SMALLVILLE and SUPERNATURAL still rules although they are now in their 5th and 9th season respectively.

TVD is one awesome series and based on the book series of the same name by L. J. Smith. Due to strong ratings, the series was given a full, 22-episode first season on October 21, 2009. The show's first season finale will air on May 13, 2010.

So bagi yang kan mau mliat ceta ane i think it's not to late to see and memahami jalan ceritanya unless u've already read the novel . And oh btw in 2010 TVD got the – People's Choice Award for Favorite New TV Drama.

Green House with 21 gold, two silver and 26 bronze medals were champions of the KUPU SB 2nd Annual Sport Day held at Padang Kebajikan Berakas yesterday. Red House were second followed by Blue House and Yellow House. The overall champion trophy was presented by Dr Hj Abdullah bin Awang Lampoh

I still can't believe we won the volleyball match today!!..Who would have thought that 5 players COULD defeat an army of players..Yellow House won the match 2 set to 1. We were 1 player short but incredibly managed to defeat the Red House who had plenty of players to choose..

We were battered in the first set but as the game progressed we get the momentom right so the 2nd and 3rd sets were ours!!..And again we were only 5 players in the court all the way.. No substitions and yes we were damn tired!!.. Nevertheless it was worth it every single drop of our sweats!!

Next match against the Green House. They were good defeating the Blue House so may be this will be a 2 fierce battle since I think the Yellow House will have some extra players. (hopefully)

We'll see.....

First the final football tournament between us and the Red House: We were defeated!! We were minutes away to victory until they managed to score the very last minute of the game that drag the game to penalties.. We lost the penalties!!..

CONGRATES RED HOUSE!!!

Then yesterday saw our house slump to another defeat in a dart competition. We came in 4th which was a hard to accept!!..

The champs were Green House!!

This afternoon we came in 3rd in the Ping Pong events...*sigh* What's going on with our house I just don't know...

This friday it will be a Volleyball event so we have to get Gold in order to have maximum point for the overall standing..Right now I heard ( not yet confirm ) Red house got 6 gold medals and us have only 4 gold medals.. The race still on for the overfall champions .. ;)

Today was the official Sukan Tahunan at KUPU SB for the 2nd year. In the morning we had a bowling events and we lost. Numbur uncit!!..But it was ok and we had fun... Next weekend there will be a football match and the venue could be either at Maktab Duli field or the Belapan Stadium ( that I was told ). I'll try to upload some pictures during the opening sport ceremony tomorrow.. ;)

The Best Team In KUPU SB ( Inservice )

1st we've won the takraw event last 2 weeks or so and today we ( Yellow House ) won the Futsal Tournement..We beat the Green House 3-1 in the final and it was a fierce game. But in the end we took the first place.. My feet still not 100% recover from swollen neverthless I worked/played very hard for the team..Hopefully the football match this friday will be our year although I fancy the Red House to be the favourites!!.. We'll see...

I'm no mood after the fever.. It took me a week to recover. At first the fever and then sakit leher and after that my feet ache ( swollen ) kinda like a gaut but it's not.. Now alhamdulillah ok da.Malas kan recap so just continue what ever i found interesting..

So just for your info our Universiti will be doing a sport day which is just around the corner. Hopefully I'll get some opportunities to tell you guys here.. There was a sepak takraw event last week but like i said malas kan recap.. But one thing for sure we ( yellow house ) won the event overall which is in the A category ( LDP).. This year there are 4 houses ( Red, Blue, Green and Yellow) unlike last year there were 6 houses ( i think )

So i leave u one of my favourite snack..haha.. Got it from miri. I don't think ia bjual d brunei but if kamu ada tliat do let me know via chat box.. ;)

Yup . I know I couldn't believe it myself either.. Liverpool thrash Man U at their den and it was a very-very shocking result since most pundits said Liverpool do not have any what so ever chance to win at old toilet..Atas kratas it look weak for liverpool since Lucas was in the starting line up and personally I don't like him playing especially against the league leader..

With this win chances for Liverpool to win their first league medal since 1990 are back on track although the scum have a game in hand with 65 points. Liverpool stay in touch in 2nd place with 61 points and chelsea who will play against Man City tomorrow on third with 58 points..

MINI CARNIVAL AT MUMONG SPORT COMPLEX

There was a carnival at the mumong sport complex..( Kutipan derma untuk mangsa-mangsa banjir - I'm not quite sure ) It was packed with cars and people. I think it was the first time ever in my life the sport complex's parking lots were full.I bought some burgers from the best 'burgerman' in KB.. ;)

The event will be held for three days starting from today..

There was an event @ KUPU SB.. I felt tired so I just make it short.. More pictures to come. Oh and btw today also the open ceremony for the new court futsal and I did play a few minutes.. At 10.30am it's quite obvious/definitely hot so I didn't want to be a 'gurkha' so kami main sekajap je.. Just a friendly match where my team ( sapai, bonus, Jun, ustaz sahiran and me) lost but still I scored a hat-trick ;)

Tomorrow will be our first ever seminar held at KUPU SB. The event starts tomorrow 4th of March until the 5th of March.Today was the registeration day.

Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah won the Cross Country Competition held at Muda Hashim Secondary School, Tutong District. HRH Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah completed the four-kilometre event in 28 minutes and 20 seconds.

That's quite fast considering it's a 10 laps standard track and to achieve below half an hour mark is consider the best in brunei. She should be in the olympics or something wakil negara tane. ;)

Personally I once jog for 10 laps but not anymore since body weight is getting heavier each week!!..I remember doing an hour jog at the track near by and I got only 5 laps..Masih lagi barat so masa ane I try to gain some fitness by playing football, futsal etc.. Jogging nda lagi brapa sal malas udah hehe..

Liverpool virtually hands title to Man U. Another stuttering performance by Liverpool and I’ve predicted that they won’t last the distance because of the lack of depth in their squad. You take away Torres and Gerrard and they don’t have match winners. Anyway, I will be covering the Manchester United vs Liverpool match at Old Trafford in mid-March 2009. My coverage is sponsored by Malaysia Airlines (thank you very much) and Blink!
